s SYDN EY, Dee. 16. The evcle of the destructive thunder, liail and windstorms wliich struck Sydney on Saturday moved on in a wide are th rough the northwest and struck Brisbane last night. Two people at least eollapsed and died as the storm passed over them and several were in jured. Five Douglas Dakota fransport air craft whieh were moored on Archerfiebv airport, Brisbane, were badlv damagecl. One was liurled .'50 feet into ther air by an S9-mile-an-hour gust and others were swept together in a tangled heap. The damage to the ])lanes, which were about to be purehased by Qantas Empire Airways is estimated at £50,f)0&. Elsewhere in Brisbane a house waS destroyed and a truek and Ims were forced into a e.ollision. Fieree hailstorms eaused great damage to crops and orehards, ^
