SYDNEY, Dee. 16. The gas eompanies are complaining that the gas restrictions are not being fnlly observed by the public, as there is a delinite draw on the mains during the hours in which the use of gas is lianned. A maximum penalty of £500 is provided for breaeh of the restrictions, and inspectors are empowered to enter premises to which gas is eoilnected.
