BIG LOSS OF COAL
SYDNKY, Dee. 16. > The miners' last working week of the i'Ckr opened disastrously today with all mines in Southei'n New South Wales and four in the north, idle for a total foss of 15,1)00 tons of coal. The loss represents more than a third of the normal daily output of the State. South coast miners stopped to hold mass meetings concerning dust and pav nient of compensation to miners with dusted lungs.
