PERSONAL
Mr. and Mrs. Colin MacDonald were Blenheim visitors to Levin for the weekend. Leave of absence for six months on account of ill-health was granted the librarian at the Public Library (Mrs. M. Whitaker) at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council last evening. The council expressed regret at the need for Mrs. Whitaker having to be given leave.
