PRACTICE CAUSES INTEREST ! Three of ihe recentlyr-'formed teams of mafciiing girls spent yesr.erday afternoon on the domain for their first practice as a team. Much local interest was taken in the ■ cams, and quite a large gathering of the public came to see them in action. Although there was not a great deal of piarching done, the eoaches being content to put their leams through the elementary stages, the public were well satistied with the manner in which the girls carried out their drill. The girls themselves are taking a kecn interest in the sport, and •ifter a few more hours of training and following the selectlon of. their Leam leaders, the girls will be obtaining their uniforms and should be ready to take i-he field in compctition with other teams early in the New Year.
