Gladly they'd make all men brothcrs for aye Chorus : Sons of the Empire, Defenders of Right, Striving to banish all wrongs that they see;' Glorious sons in a game or a fight, DuLlful, loyal and as brave as can be. Long live our noble King George on his Throne, Keeping our Empire united and free, One of the greatest of Monarchs e'er known, Honoured and loved by his people is he. Long live Elizabeth, wife of our King, Beautiful gracious, adorable Queen God bless and guard them, and unto them bring Hours of the happiest ever they've seen. Long live our Navy, our stay and our pride, Covered with glory it won in the past, Ever 'tis guarding the seas far and wide Keeping them free for our trade which is vast. Always secure with our Navy are we, So let use wisely this safeguard maintain Till the day comes when all nations agree, Ne'er to make war on this earth here again.
