EXTRA CHRISTMAS RATIONS
1 - WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. The dctails of the extra rations avail ablo over Christnias were given today by the food and rationing coutrollei (Mr. A. J. Costelloe). Thcy are: — ' Tea and supar coupons 9 to 12 ahd but tor coupons 9 to 11 are availablc from next Moiidav, December 1(5 up to Jainiary 19, 1947. Cq.upons 5 to 8 ox pire on December 22, except for thi butter coupou No. 8 covering the spec ial hali'-pouml allovvance which expires on Decembur 25. Meat coupons No. 9 are valid from December 10 and coupons No. 10 from December 23. Thcse coupons expire as sol out in the coupon caleudar on the baek covcr of the ralion book. Mr. Costelloe said tliat tlie additional ralion of meat aimouiiced by the Miu isler of Hupply (Mr. .Sullivan) would be releascd by an increase in the value of I[ and J coupons No. 8. In tlie North Island poupou II 8 would be wortli 9d and coupon J 8 would be wortli (5d, and in Ihe Houth Island their values would ue lld and 8d respectively.
