Austin obviouslv had in mind a suggestion made dnring the Avcekend that Pnited Nations should build skyscraper lieadipiart ors in Ncav York eity similar to the Rockefeller centre. Air. Trygve IJe, intervening, said it would eost Pnited Nations 1,820,00(1 dollars to movc its staff and equipment to Pa 11 Francisco. Extra travelling costs for the secretariat and delegations was estimated at half a million dollars. The most specialised agencies altiliated with Pnited Nations had undertaken to establish headquarters at the samclilace as Pnited Nations but he did not believe it possible to persuade thein all to go to San Francisco.
