RIJMANIAN KING'S SPEE£H Received Monday, 12.15 p.m. BUCHAREST, De,p. 1. King Micliael made his first public appearance since the war when he opened the first session of the newly-selected Chamber of Deputies. The Government parties greeted him with loud cheers. Opposition parties were not present, and well-informed circles stal^e that they have decided to boycott the entire session. The King's speech emphasised that the policy of Rumania was friendship and close co-operation with the Soviet and likewise with United Nations, to membership of which he hoped Rumania would soon be admitted after the signing of the peace treaty.
