WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. The Government has 110 plans as yet for calling a eonference to re-define tlie principles and metliods of econoniie stabilisation. Tliis was indicated when inquiries were made in official cjuarters regarding references to the possibility of sucli a eonference being held early next year. No decision even to hold such a eonference has been made, it was stated, lel alone an approximate date proposed. The report was describod as purely sjieculative and a sequel to the desire that. has been expressed by some trade union, farming, and manufacturing groups that tlie b&gia on whieh wages, costs, and prices are -fixed sliould now be reviewed in the light of ehanging econ omic eonditions.
