ANOTHER OPPONENT FOR MR. NASH
WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. An interesting development in the election campaign is the announcernent by Mr. G. Laing, Government inspector of motor vehicles, that he intends to contest the Hutt seat as an Independent Labour candidate. His opponehts are the Minister of Finance, Hon. W. Nash; Mr. J. Yogfel, representing the National Party; and Mr. T. F. Simpson, Revolutio'nary Socialist. Mr. Laing recently petitioned Parliament fOr a public inquiry into • charges that worii-out/ obsolete vehicles,; had been, .sttpplied to the New Zek'iaiicl troops in the" Facific.
