FUSION OF TWO PARTIES
MOVE IN AUSTRALIA CAXBEKHA. Oct. 30. The Federal Council of the Liberal Party uuaniniously decided last niglit to approach the Country Party with a view to fusion of the two parties. Approaches will be made as soon as possible. The present amalgamation which resulted in the selection of joint Cenate teanis and exi-lmnges of preferences in the Federal electinns was made last Jaiiuary. The Liberal executive tohi the Council that there were 110 fundaniental differences in the views of the parties. The council also expressed uppreeiation of aiul eonlidence in Mr. Menzies.
