The New Zealand Wool Board, in a statenient tonight. says a nuniber of growers are slill j'urwarding bales of wool to brokers in excess of 490 lbs., lliis causing a eonsiderable aniount of extra work in the wool stores through brokers being compelled to reinove the aniount of excess wool which could only be biniKMl. The brokers would be entitled to niake a charge to cover the extra work in\olved. Becuuse of the large (piantities of wool to be handled and tlie dilliculties of obtaining sullicient labour, the addi tumai work thrown (iu the brokers aud stores was likely to seriously prejudice arraiigements xnade for selling the curreut wool clip.
