MONDAY AND TUESDAY "Minesweeper" tells a dramatic story of a Naval lieutenant (Richard Arlen) who gets into difficulties with a group of gamblers. Faced with the prospect of losing his rank, he deserts only to re-enlist under a false name after Pear Harbour. As a gunner's mate aboard a minesweeper, he discovers that his buddy, Russel Hayden, is also his rival for the affections. of Jean Parker. Both go through the same harrowing experiences at school and underseas until they are assigned to detonate a mysterious Jap mine lodged in the harbour. It is this sequence which provides the suspense-full and thrilling climax. Associate Attraction One of the most amusing scenes in "Henry Aldrich's Little Secret" shows Henry entering a night club with a baby in tow. He has to meet a girl there and he is burdened with a small client of his Baby-minding Agency, newest of the weird enterprises embarked upon by the son of the house of Aldrich in the contant struggle to improve his always embarrassing financial status.
