500 Winners There was a good muster of players at the weekly flag 500 evening conducted by the women's section of tht R.S.A. in Laurvig's Hall on Monday. Prize winners were Mesdames E. Thorne, R. Quinlan and A. Tremewan 'and Mr. E. Thorne. ' Buckley Golf Club Closing Arrangements were made at a meeting of tht Buckley Golf Club, held on Tuesday evening, for the closing of the club on November 3. The presentation of trophies will take place at 1.30 p.m. In the morning a flag competition will be held for men members. The competition is for the Stern trophy. Following the presentation of trophies, a Canadian foursome will be held. Invit'ations have been extended to the Mangaore and Levin Clubs, and a large gathering is expected.
