Transfer to Work in Rnssia AMERICA TO SEEK REP0RT

Colonel Howey, chief of the American Military GovernifiQnt, said in Berlin today that the United States would atsk Russia for a full report on the transfer of German workers at the Control Commission meeting tomorrow. The Associated Press' Berlin correspondent says an ofHcial Russian version, released through. the Rus-sian-licensed German News Agency, asserted that German technicians and engineers were being transported from Berlin to work in Russia in fulfilment of the contracts the- made with Soviet industries. "Many left with their families. -All took sufficient food and each got a seat in a railway coach, while their , belongings are being transported by special trucks. They will be put to work in Russia at their special trades and professions." The statement added that German trades unions would be permitted to contact the transf erred workers. "
