Only two fatal accidents marred the record of Australian airlines in 17,075,700 miles of flying 011 regular transport services during the year ended dune 50 last. The other crash occurred in Queensland on Alay 1 when the pilot of a Percival (iull wa:killed. In the past three years during whieh regular air transport services have been flown more than 40,000,00(1 milas. there have been only seven fatal accidents involving 37 passengers and 10 members of the crew.
