BABY SMOTHERED BY CAT
The deepest sympathy of all residents in the district will be extended to Mr. and Mrs. Ken P. Robinson, of Shannon (nee Doris Millard, Levin), in the loss of their three weeks' old only child, Brian Kenneth, on Friday evening, under tragic circumstances. The mother had put the wee babe to sleep in its bassinet at 8.30 p.m. in a bedroom in the home of her parencs-in-law, Mr, and Mrs. P. K. Robinson, Newtown, Shannon, where she was staying at the time. An hour and a-half later pn entering the room she f ound that a cat had curled itself up in the bassinet and smothered the babe.', having apparently gained entrance to the room through a slightly opened window.
