Murray, of Palmerston North and formerly secretary of the Shannon Dairy. Company, was a visitor to Shannon over the weekend for the opening of the bowling season. vr Euchre Winners ' There was the usual large attendance of euchre enthusiasts at Laurvig's Hall on Friday evening • for the weekly' tournaipent conducted by the local branc]a of the Labour Party. The prize. winners were Mesdames V. McEwan and B. Coulter.
