^ — - — : - . . ■ „ EXECUTIVE'S FINAL MEETING The final meeting for this season of the management committee of the Horowhenua Rugby Footbdll Union was held on Tuesday night. Present were Messrs. A. Gillespie (president), J. A. Zuppicich (secretary), F. G. Carrington (treasurer)., H. Wylie, E. Cook, T. Winiata,. D. Cole, H. Robson, N-. D. Tihey, J. D. MacFarlane and R. L. Robinson. Thanks were received from the Levin Municipal Band for a donation of £2 2s. ,A decision was made to increase the secretary's honorarium from £25 to £35, and also that £4 4s be paid to the treasurer. Itr was decided to pay the expenses incurred by the Horowhenua primary schools representative team when it- travelled to the Hutt for the quadrangular . tournament, but that in future a proposed statement of expenditure be sent to the Horowhenua Union before the tournameht. On a motion by Mr. T. Winiata it was decided to award the J. W. Procter Rose Bowl to the runnersup in the Horowhenua junior competition. The trophy will be. a perpetual challenge one, and will be neld by Waimeha this year. It was decided that any revenue received 'from Rugby Park be paid in to the general fund. On account of the increasing •number of trophies which are being presented each year, it was decided to have all trophies re-valued and insured against all damages.
