Received Mondav, 9.50 p.m. , SYDNEY, Oct. 14. Sydney last night suffered the hottest October night since, recordings were first ta]cen in 1859. The minimum temperature was 74.3 registered at 11 p.m. If was also the higliest minimum temperature recorded for any month smce January 19, 1937, when a minimum of 70.4- was registered. The temperature climbed again today though the sky was overcast but eooi. A change is expected late this afternoon.
