CARD EVENING

Mrs. and Miss Swabey were hostesses for another enjoyable bridge and &00 evening in aid of Boy Scouts' funds. Exquisite spring blooms were used for artistic decorating of the receptiori. rooms, with bright iires to add to the festive air. After much excitement with rising and falling bids, Mrs. Bowrie and Mrs. Nairn emerged prize winners, while Mrs. Mould and Mr. Synnott annexed the lovely bouquets. Mr. Mould was in the "lucky chair." A delicious supper was provided by the ladies of the Scouts Committee. Mr. Berry thanked Mrs. and Miss Swabey for the use of their home, and announced that the next party would be on Wednesday, October 23, and not Tuesday as usual, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. McGilligan, Tasman Road.
