BOY SCOUT EXHIBITION

MEETING OF COMMITTEE The exhibition and show under the auspices of the Otaki Boy Scouts' Committee to be held on Saturday, October 19, at the Railway Hall, will feature a very fine display. Entries are numerous and the committee is working energetically to make the show even a bigger and brighter success than last year. At a meeting held on Tuesday night considerable interest was displayed, and judges and stewards were appointed for the occasion. Besides the display of articles there will be many for exhibition only, " and these will be well worth seeing. Musical items will also be provided, while the Otaki Brass Band will enliven proceedings with selections and Maori performers will also be in evidence. It was stated at the meeting that as the result of card evenings there was a profit of £12, while it was reported that the evenings, besides proving profitable, had been enjoyable, although stronger support was expected from some members of the committee.
