ANGLICAN WOMEN'S GUILD

Mrs. E. L. Hyde presided over a good gathering of- members of the Anglican Ladies' Guild on Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. J. H. and Mrs. Datson were also present. Mrs. G. Munford and Mrs. R. Vinsen were welcomed back after their illnesses. A long discussion was held to make arrangements for the i'orthcoming bazaar, which will be heid on November 14. It was decided to write to the Rev. Mr. Kenny, an ex -minister of the church to open the bazaar. Mrs. I. F. Leng-Ward reported on her activities as district visitor of the sick for September. The visitors for October will be Misses V. Munford and P. Allerby, to whom notification of cases of sickness should be made. Mrs. F. Lang was welcomed as a new member. The competition for next montii will be for the best coat hanger or apron made from waste materia1. A competition held during the afternoon was won by Miss P. Allerby. Afternoon tea hostesses were Mrs. D. Jones and Miss V. Munford.
