WELLINGTON, Oct. 4. Though exports from New Zealand in July, at £8,642,000, were well below the record figure of £10,681,000 establislied in May, they showed an increase of £1,175,000 on the June total. Compared tvith the corresponding month of 1945, exports Were up by £3,221,000. OverSeas trade figures are as follows: Montli of July. — Exports: 1946, £8,642,000; 1945, £5,421,000; 1944, £6,287,000. Imports: £5,133,000; £5,052,000; £10,234,000. Excess Of exports: 1946, £3,509,000; 1945, £369,000. Excess of imports: 1944, £3,947,000. Seven months ended July.— E.xports r 1946, £61,932,000; 1945, £49,574,000; 1944, £41,304,000. Imports: £38,662,000; £31,007,000; £55,141,000. Excess of exports: 1946, £23,270,600; "1945, 1 £18,567,000. Excess of 'imports: 1944, £13,837,000. The import values include defence materials and equipment; also LendLease supplies.
