BOXING TOURNEY TONIGHT
SEASON S FINAL FIXTURE The Levin Boxing Club's second and final tournament for this year will be held tonight in the Regent Theatre, commencing at 8 p.m. All who witnessed the August tournament agreed that it was a splendid evening 's sport and that the standard of boxing equalled that : seen anywhere else in the Dominion. A return bout between C. D. Cheney (Kiwi P.N.) and C. Taylor (Levin) is being fought and shouid attract a great deal of interest, as Taylor won the bout on points, but tonight the decision may be reversed. Another drawcard on the pro- ! gramme is- -a welter weight bouti oetween R.--Hakaraia (Otaki) and Vile (Kiwi). Everyone will re'mem:er Hakaraia in his last bout for his aggressive and unorthodox methods, and it will be interesting j to see if he still adopls his bafflingj tactics. Eight Levin boys will be| dghting to-night and apart fromj the one return bout all the con-( :estants will have new opponents. i
