APPEAL FOR POLISH TROOPS IN BRITAIN
Received Wednesday, 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 24. Appealing to the British forces to remember the performances of the Polish Army in Italy, General Sir Oliver Leese, in a speech, asked that the Poles should be received in a friendly spirit when they eame to Britain. "When you feel Inelined to think that they are a damned nuisance, remember what they did for us," he said. "If they return to Poland they will quickly find themselves somewhere beyond the Urals."
