Ueceivcd Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, >Sept. 14. The Yegagull aircraft in which Misa Jean Balton tlew frcmi England to New Zealand in 1937 in devon days and three quartera oi' an hour, is among tlie veteran machines exlnbited by tho Society of British Aircraft Constructors ' qi.splay at Kadlctt airfxeld. The .only clue to the reason for thc inclusion of this small inconspieuous machine ainong tlie many more modern familiar typos, was the word "Jean" painted on tlie engine c.uwTing and its reeord painted in small uiodest lettering on the fuseJage. This reads: "1935 England to Bruzil 2 days 17£ hours. 1936 England to Australia 5 days dl hours.( 1937 England to New Zealand 11 days and three quartora of an hour. 1937 Australia to England 5 .days 13 hours. 1939 to 194(5 R.A.F. conniiuuications." The Daily Telegraph 's columnist expresses the opinion that the plane shouhl have been placed in the most ypromiiient position in the exhibition for no other machine could be a better advertisement "for robuat construction of British aircraft.
