LONDON, Sept. 13. At an air display at Radlett, senior pilots of the Kussian, American, Greek and French air forces yere among those before whom a ehief test- pilot (Mr. J. Quillj demonstrated, for the iirst time, a new Supermarino jet lighler. The plane is designed for l'asler speeds than either of the' other British jet Jighters, the Vampire and Meteor. The Press Association says overseas companios reccntly jdaced orders for £2.009,000 worth of Avro aircraft^ includiug Tudors, with the Avro C'ompanv. T.t says the Oivil Avialiou Ministry's contract for 99 Tudor J's brings the tirm 's booked orders to more than £14,000,000.
