SHANNON'S WEEKLY SHOOT 1 The attendance at the Druids' Hall on Wednesday evening for the usual weekly shoot of the Shannon Miniature Rifle Club was good' and some good shooting resulted. Qnce again the lady members all returned good scores; not one returned a target below 60 points from a possible of 70. The individual scores were as follows: — • Senior section (possible 100) : J. Lucinsky 98, A. Birss 95, P. Guerin 89. A. Burke 89, K. Thomson 86, E. Wilson 86". A. Judd 85, R. Symonds 71 and I. Ray 65. Ladies' section (possible 70) : Miss J. Pigott 66, Miss R. Birss 66, Miss M. Easton 66, Miss N. Thomson 63, Miss F. Chester 62 and Miss G. Chester 61. Junior section (possible 70) : J. Moore 66, K. Ropoama 62, N. Clough 61, O. Sayer 59, G. Kennard 58. J. Hemmingsen 57, K. Prier 49, P. Ropoama 45, L. O'Connor 42, R. Easton 41. J. Birss 29, R. Grant 28 and P. Hemmingsen 27. The members are advised that the usual club shoot will be held on Tuesday evening of next week.
