LEVIN MUNICIPAL BAND

PROGRAMME OF MUSIC ON sxjnday Next Sunday afternoon, weather permitting, the Levin Munjcipal Band, under the conductorship of Mr. G. R. Lester, will render a programme of marches, hymns and selections in the Public Gardens, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The band eontinues to make favourable progress, and it is their intention to pla:y in the gardens on one Sunday each month. Rughy enthusiasts will also have an added attraction at the representative matcb, Manawata v. Horowhenua, on Saturday, when the band will be in attendance, if weather conditions are favourable, and render items at suitable intervals during the afternoon.
