The death has occurred at Dunedin of Mr. John Inglis Wright, aged 85, pioneer of advertising agency work in New Zealand. He was chairman of the well-known advertising firm that bears his name, up to the time of his death. The death occurred yesterday in the Palmerston North Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past month, of llr. Charles Wiggs Curtis, of Bristol Street, Levin. The deceased gentleman, who was 69 years of age, had resided in Levin for a long period. He was employed by the P. and T. Department as a postman, and in that capacity was well known in the town. Recently he retired from the service. The late Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife and an adult family. The funeral takes place at Levin to-morrow. >.
