"ELECTION-WINNING BUDGET"
Sir, — Congratulations to Mr. Nash on his masterly presentation of the Budget last evening. I, in common with many others, have decried the Labour Government over the years for this, that and the other thing, but after listening. to Mr. Nash last evening I realised mere has been a war on,'but now that war is over what a difference there will be. All the Nationalist score of National Socialism was blown sky high by Mr. Nash, not in promises, which is all the National Party can offer us, but in hard facts as presented by the Budget, which helps all the people, not only one class. Anyone who thought of voting National at the forthcoming election wants to study the Budget flgures and then think again. Yours etc., "LABOUR FOREVER." Levin, Aug. 16.
