ARBOR DAY TO-MORROW

OBSERVANCE IN LEVIN To-morrow at 2. p.m. the public of Levin are invited to attend the celebration of Arbor Day. Twentyfour girls and boys are to plant flowering cherry trees in Cambridge Street, near the Public Gardens, and parents and friends are enjoined to support this effort. It is hoped to enlist an army of Children as custodians of this avenue, which should prove of great attraction to ■ Levin in a few years. To teach- the child is to teach tlie citizen of to-paorrow, and this work of citizenship and civic pride is one that should appeal to many. If the day is too wet, the whole of the proceedings will take place on Thursday.
