WELLINGTON,. August 5. Tlie Kiwi Rugby team is no more. At a- brief but pleasaut function yesterday members of the team were farewelled by their leaders preparatory to leaving for various destinations. JMr. S. S. Dean, on behalf of the New Zealand Rugby Uniou, tlianked players for vvhat they had done during the toui and wished tliem the best of luek for the future. Major V. J. Butler spoke on behalf of Lieufenant Colonel A..H.. Audrews,.man ager of the Kiwi team, who was una voidably absent. The team captain, Major C. K. Saxton, and -viee-eaptain, Major J. Finlay, tlianked the team for loyalty and splen did" play throughout tlie tour. Major Saxton impressed npdn the men the- need for earrying the Kiwi style of play into their home elubs and unions.
