Mr. LaGuardia is strongly protesting to Allied headquarters against the widespread pilfering of Cnrra supplies at Trieste, states the Associated Press correspondent at Belgrade. Air. La- t Guardia warned that unless tliihgs were | righted he would take up the inatter with the British and American Governments. " He described tlie conditions in Trieste as deplorable and intoleralde and tlie Porces guarding the supplies as a Boy Scout arrangement. Entire freight cars disappeared. x "There is no use fussing around this niatter any longer. Either the military Government can prolect these Pnrra shipments or must openly, publicly and otticially confess it cannot," he said. "Armed guards niust lie furnished and I mean armed guards. We do not want observers. We need guards."
