CIVIC THEATRE

FINALLY TO-NIGHT Any dyed-in-the-wool boxing fan should be in his giory when he sees Preston St'urgeS?' "Hail the Conquering Hera," to-night at the Civic Theatre, in which Eddie Bracken is starred with Ella Raines and William Demarest in support. In the cast of this Paramount film are three of the former top fighters in the history of the ring. Two of them are known to every fight fan who ever watched a match. One is Frank Moran, who fought every heavyweight in the business during the days of Jack Johnson and Jess Willard. Plenty of suspenseful action and the eventual triumph of a Commando group over a number of German secret agents operating in England, e&rmark "The Gorilla Man" one of the most exciting pictures of the year. Literally packed with intrigue and colour, the story has a hard-hitting cast that features John Loder, Ruth Ford, Marian Hall and Richard Fraser.
