Advice has been received that Mr. Robert Blackburn, who was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital following injuries when a bus and car collided on the rnain highway on Friday night, has been removed from the seriously hurt list. Major-General N. W. Weir, Chief of ,thg ileneral Staff, left Auckland on Monday to attend a Chiefs-of-Staff conference in London. He is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom on August 4. Air ViceMarshal A. de T. Nevill, Chief of the Air Staff, who will also attend, left on Friday.
