FINE OF £15 IMPOSED At a sitting of the Levin Cuirt yesterday Brian Cooper appsartd before Messrs. J. W. Rimmer and D. J. Gardiner, J.'s.P. charged with the theft of a vice from the workihop of Victor Henry Bregnen. The evidence showed that Cooper made frequent use of Bregnen rs workshop, and was unable to obtain a vice of his own. At midnight on July 25 he crawled under the locked door of the w7orkshop and removed a- vice from the bench. . - In convicting Cooper and fining him £15, . tb.e Bench commented that it wa-s a' pafticula'rly meali theft in view o'f the fact that Bregnen had befriended him, and also that Cooper had not appreciated the leniency of the court on former occasions. ^
