The death occurred suddenly in Wellington yesterday of Mr. William Fielding, a well-known architect and past chairman of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter, Mrs. Paul Coloney, wife of Rear -Admiral Coloney, U.S. Navy. Mr. K. J. H. Waller has been appointed to the position of manager. for New Zealand of the Prudential Assurance Company, Ltd.. as from August 1, 1946~ Mr. Waller was formerly the company's Chief Agency Supervisor in New Zealand. Mr. G. H. Heath, a member of the Head Ofiice Management and Accouiitant for Australia and New Zealand of the company, who was appointed temporarily to the position as acting manager for New Zealand, is returniilg to Australia at the end of the month to resume his former duties.
