Wooderson drew level at 50 ( yards from (lie finish and breasted the tape four yards in fronl. A. S. Wint, of Jamaica, and E. »McDonald Bailey, of Trinidad, are starred with Wooderson for Britain in the Amateur Athletic Ohampionships. Wint won the quarter iviile in 48.4 seconds, and the lialf mile in 1.14.8 seconds.! Bailey, who twice this season recorded, 9.7 seconds for the 109 yards, won the hundred in 9-.S seconds. The. 18-year-old A. S. Pal.crson, of; Glasgow, won the high jump with 6ft. 2in. Douglas Wilson, of England, covered the mile in 4mirr. 17.4sec.
