Pilgriins from Britain, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Holland, and Luxeml)onrg, walked from upwards of a month aiul bore 14 crdsses, each weighing abop-t 601b, to the small town of Yeselay, .100 miles southeast of Paris. Reuter's Paris correspondent says they intend to start, next Monday, a crusade for world peace in the town where St. Bernard preached for the Sec- ' ond Crusade eight centuries ago. The British pilgriins left London on June 25.. They included an Avnxy major, doctors, a lawyer, journalists, friars, and a barnian. The crusade will last several days, | and more than 50,000 visitors are expected, including military delegations ; from Britain, America, France, and iGanada, and foreign diplomats.
