NATIVE FLORA CLUB
MONTIILY MEETING The usual monthly meeting of the Levin N.Z. Native Flora Club was. held on Thurgday, June 27, with Mr. J. D. Pafsons presiding. Some apologies for absence were received. The club has decided to donate prizes, in the form of books, for competit-ion amongst the members of the Junior Native Flora Club. The junior club has ninety-five members amongst the pupils of the Levin School, and their keen interest is well worth encourugmg. * - A club outing has" been arranged for July 7. Members are to meet at the Ohau Store at 10.15 a.m., en route for the end of Florida Road where a bush-clad terrace flanking the Ohau River is exnected to be reasbnably dry underfoot. Car owners ' from the Levin end are asked to .collect pedestrian members at the Levin Post Office before proceeding to Ohau, so anyone requiring transport should be at the post office by 10. a.m.
