DISTRICT'S GROWTH % REFLECTED During last month 27 new consumers and 47 extensio,ns were connected to the Horowhenua Electric Power Board's supply, acc.ording fo a report to the board by the engineer (Mr. J. F. Bryce) . The1 inStallaTions coinprised' h> lighting and heating installatio.ns, 20 ranges, 22 waterheaters, one mflking motox, one separator motox, one pumping motor . and nine industrial motors. Referring to the number of new installations, the chairman (Mr. G. A. Monk) said that he flid no.t know how' long the .board could keep up with the demands on the supply. The number of applications received was a fair indication of Ihe way the district would grow if the power was available.
