Received IMonday, 11.20 p.m. . I/IS ANGELE8, June 24. A Beattie message states tliat a hill 300, feet high "walked" 35 fe.et eloser to the sea at Campbel] River as the result of the earthquake. A man aged 09 died of heart failure wlien Beattie 's downtown buildings swayed above him as he walked to ehurch.
