WELLINGTON, June .16. A light car left the road iu Stokes Valiey in the early hours of Saturday mornijig and fell into a floodod creek. The driver whs killed and a passenger admitted to hospital. Mr. Stewart Frances Geddis, aged 28, married with one child, was killed and yi r. Xeil Collins, of Christchurch, received injuries to the head and riba and shock. The men served overseas together and were returning from an evening with friends in the Valiey. The night was foggv.
