AUCIvAXD, ,June 16. An elderly ' muu received i n jui'iod when he fell from a train at Pukekohe, from which he subsequeutly died. Ho was ^lr. Walter Adams, of Stratford. Mr. Adams was found lying uncon1 scious on tlie side of Ihe railway tracU i just olT the maia platform, by a portei when lie was walking to the north eud of Pukekohe railway station- yard shortly before 6 a.m. yesterllay. It it not known how deceused was injured i but it appours he fell from the New IMymouth cxpress which arrived at Pukekohe at 5.15 a.m. M r. Adams wai to join his wife who was staying ii. Pukekohe.
