AUCKLAND, June 16. Trapped iu a burniug cai# on Saturday inorning, four children were saved when the fathcr of three of them snmsiied in the car window and rescued them. He was Frederick Edwin Lewis, aged 48. who was admitted to hospital witli severe lacerations of tho arm. A daugiiter aged seven was treated for cuts. The cur was being lilled with benzine when it suddenly burst into llames.
