PACKED LONDON FOR VICTORY CARNIVAL
Received Sundav, 7.50 p.m. LOXDOX, June 10. Tliousands wlio fiooded into London for the seventh and last night of the Victory carnival, again brought trailic to a standstill at Westminster and p&ckcd themselves into Whitehall, the Embankmeut and Parliament and Trafalgar Squares. London, throughout tlie week, has been a magnet for sightseers. They eame and stared at the lloodlights, watched displays on the Thames, wore paper liats, sang and joked and managed to give an appearanee of carnival although the eitv throughout the week has lieen alniost liare of cigarettes and even potatoes.
