State Colitrol of the New South: Walbs coal industry, decided upoii by Mr. Chifle-y and Mr. McKell, is as close to nationalisation as eonstitutionally possible. Coalowners are to be reduced in status to controlling only the maro' agement in their own pits without any say in the control of the indnstry and with profits limited. Neithef the owners iior« the* miners are to be represented on the Commonwealth-State authority which -is to be supreme over the iiidustry and independent of either side.
